"Museum Seen" is a series of Black & White candid photographs of people reacting to art in museums.

Dan Castelli is a lifelong Portland resident. He's a retired Technology Education (aka: Shop) teacher.  In 1970, he bought a 35mm SLR camera and paid a king's ransom over the years buying and selling cameras. Because that's what amateur photographers do. He continues to work in 35mm film format with a darkroom in his basement. "This is what I do. I wander around a city or a place. I notice, and sometimes photograph, apparently insignificant details..." this is my style, as eloquently stated by the late French photographer, Marc Riboud. I couldn't say it better if I tried.

This exhibit runs November 22 2025 - January 9 2026.
