The Portland Library TAB (Teen Advisory Board) is continuing to make the library a better place for teens!

Teen Advisory Board News
Portland Library’s Teen Advisory Board, a.k.a TAB, has been the voice of teens for the Library for the past 3 years.

This eighteen member strong, group of local teens have steadfastly participated in creating teen programs, sharing their excitement for reading and movies, and offering their valued suggestions for youth library services and materials.

It is with sadness and regret that the Library must
suspend regular TAB meetings this fall due to
budgetary constraints and lack of staffing in the youth area of the library.

We look forward to reinstating the regular meetings early next year, as soon as staffing in the department is increased. Until then, current members will be contacted as opportunities arise and programs are planned.  Good wishes to those teens going on to college! We wish you great success!

TAB, Portland Library’s Teen Advisory Board, is presenting a series of book-related programs for teens.  If you are in grade 7 or higher, you are invited to join in the excitement.
